I have been in the financial services industry for over 15 years. I view my role as a trusted advisor and planner as less of a day job and more of a calling. My career before founding Deliberate Wealth includes nearly a decade at a regional bank and the last 4+ years at a major brokerage firm. I believe setting clear expectations and effective communication are non-negotiable. While I am proud of the many accomplishments and recognitions I’ve received in my career, my greatest professional satisfaction comes from truly making an impact in the lives of my clients. I focus on caring deeply and listening well.
I have no shortage of excitement at home. I met my beautiful wife, Anna-Layne, while we were both undergrads at Clemson University. Go Tigers! We have 5 energetic children and our loveable mutt, Bowman. Beyond my home life, my family and I are deeply involved in our local church community. My faith is the foundation of everything I do, serving as the primary compass for how I live, work, and lead my family. I enjoy being active and call myself a "persistent recreational athlete"—which means I'm not in danger of going pro in sports, but I love playing them! I also love to be outside and on the water with my family when the weather is warm.
